Antigua and Barbuda, Guadeloupe's neighbor, does not have much in common with it. Here is a flat island, of English culture, which no longer cultivates sugar cane (in honor of cricket!). Antigua and Barbuda is the ideal place for a family vacation thanks to its superb beaches, which are some of the most stunning in the Caribbean. Its beaches are as white and powdery as snow, and the milky turquoise waters that surround them are so intense that they almost resemble a tropical cocktail.

English Harbour, the main British naval base in the West Indies in the 18th century and formerly under the command of Admiral Nelson, is located on the south coast of Antigua and Barbuda. A naval installation was built there, surrounded by a beautiful, very British colonial atmosphere. Today, English Harbor serves as a compass for all yachts sailing the Caribbean Sea.

Antigua and Barbuda is home to the unique sister island of Barbuda as well as the deserted islets of the North Sound Marine Park. 1,500 people live in a paradise that has been spared the effects of mass tourism. It is surrounded by reefs and has endless beaches, covered in pink sand and crushed shells, like in dreams. The Man o War Island frigatebird colony is the largest outside the Galapagos and is found in the mangroves north of the Great Codrington Lagoon.
