What is the Talent permit?
The Talent permit (formerly Talent Passport) is a multi-year residence permit (up to 4 years) allowing highly qualified foreign nationals to work in France. It covers 8 categories: Qualified Employee, EU Blue Card, Researcher, Innovative Company, Corporate Officer, Project Creator, Renown, and Medical Profession.
This tool checks 4 schemes: Innovative Company (SIREN + NAF sector check), Qualified Employee (threshold ≥ €39,582/year), EU Blue Card (threshold ≥ €59,373/year), and Project Creator (investment ≥ €30,000).
2026 thresholds are indexed to the SMIC: €1,823.03/month gross, i.e. €21,876.40/year. Decree no. 2025-539 of 13 June 2025 officially renamed the "Talent Passport" to "Talent".
